Julie Loyd PA-C, CFMP
Welcome to Starlight Wellness Functional Medicine! I am so excited to walk with you on your health journey to wellness! I am a Jesus follower, wife, and mother of 3 amazing children. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Health Science from Grand Valley State University in 2001 as well as a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies in 2004. I became passionate about how the body can recover from disease in 2008 when I experienced my own health issues. I discovered that our current health care system tends to mask symptoms of chronic illness. I wanted to get to the root of my problem and heal! That is why I chose to earn my certification in Functional Medicine and help others. God's design for our bodies is to function optimally and fight illness or disease. By identifying some of the reasons why your body isn't working at its full potential we can implement strategies for you to restore your health and help you feel more like yourself again!
